Laboratory astrophysics uses experimental and theoretical methods to study certain crucial aspects of astronomical environments to understand how matter behaves under extremes of temperature, radiation, magnetic fields, and other properties.
ACHIEVEMENTS
State Level Model Making Competition under the Aghaz initiative at GHSS Khayar Srinagar on 08.06.2024, established by Samagra Shiksha, Jammu and Kashmir, in collaboration with IIT Kanpur. The competition was graced by esteemed dignitaries and showcased the depth of knowledge and talent of the students.
The competition was graced by Shri Anuraj Pandey, EdTech Ass. Faculty, SATHEE initiative, Department of CSE, IIT Kanpur, and Prof. Sajad Masudi, Department of Physics, University of Kashmir.
Project Director Samagra Shiksha Mr. Ajeet Kumar expressed confidence in the mission of the Aghaz initiative and directed escort teachers to make Aghaz Labs a place of visit in their communities, emphasizing the overall development of students through these facilities.
The jury was headed by eminent Physicist Prof Sajad Masudi, from Kashmir University and Shri Anuraj Pandey from IIT Kanpur and Mr Fayaz Ahmad Bhat from SCERT , Kashmir Division.
J&K Sainik School Manasbal represented district Ganderbal showed a brilliant performance both at junior as well as at senior level and secured their names at both the levels and later were awarded by prizes and momentos.
Mr. Ajeet Kumar, State Nodal Officer, extended his gratitude to all participants and dignitaries for their valuable contributions to the program.*
